Our
Story
We're Barrovians born and bred (well one of us is an import but has now been here longer than not) but we've not always been in Barrow.
​
With backgrounds in Maritime and Offshore Oil and Gas we've done our fair share of travelling, staying in some... interesting places to put it mildly. We think we've learnt exactly what makes a good accommodation and we're determined to make sure every visitor that stays with us has that great experience that we expect when we travel.

We LOVE Barrow and the surrounding area. The local tourism board coined the phrase "Where the Lakes meets the sea" and it really is true. Barrow is known for its engineering prowess and our very windy coastline but its almost always overlooked as a destination in itself. We're lucky to have a town centre full of independent shops and cafes to while away an afternoon or two as well as the absolute gems that are Furness Abbey, Piel Castle and a thriving seal colony on Walney. We're also only a 20 minute drive from the Lake District National Park!

We're hands on kind of people and if you're staying in one of our properties you may indeed meet us while we're cleaning a loo or carrying out maintenance, do say Hi!
